Coronavirus Info & FAQ

Update 10th September 2020:
On Wednesday 9th September the UK Government announced that from Monday 14th September, you must not meet with people from other households socially in groups of more than 6. This is enforcable by law with offenders being fined along with the venues if they are deemed to be complicit.

We are therefore unable to accept any bookings that consist of more than 6 people, whether on a single booking or in total for group bookings, for stays after 14th September.

As a Covid Secure venue, we can accomodate more than 6 people in total but groups of up to 6 must not mix to form larger groups on site and anyone found to be breaking these new rules will be asked to leave with no refund offerred.

On 23rd June the UK Government announced a range of lockdown easing measures that took effect on July 4th 2020. This included the reopening of self-catering and campsite holiday accommodation, providing that these businesses are taking all the appropriate measures to remain “Covid Secure” to keep guests and staff safe at all times.

Later the same week Visit England and The AA launched their Covid Secure Certification schemes which enable accommodation businesses to list all of the additional Covid-19 related measures they are taking and to upload prepared risk assessments in order to gain approval.
