Each of our
log cabins is professionally cleaned between guests using the
industry approved Covid Cleaning Protocols and a checklist completed
and
left for guests to see. After cleaning and maintenance has
been completed, all surfaces and touch points (door handles,
light
switches etc) are then disinfected with an approved virucidal
cleaner and we employ a no-entry policy, meaning no-one else
enters the log cabin until the next guests arrive.
For log cabins with private hot tubs, the hot tubs are emptied
and cleaned between guests, then refilled and correctly dosed
with the necessary chemicals. Once completed, the control
panels and
lid handles are wiped over with an approved virucidal cleaner.
All bed linen and towels are removed then stored for 72
hours before being professionally cleaned at 60 degrees.
All crockery and cutlery are cleaned in the dishwasher or
sink between guests, regardless of whether it has been
used. The
handles of all pans and cookware are also wiped over with
virucidal cleaner.
Our cleaning and maintenance staff wear all necessary PPE
whilst in the log cabin, fresh PPE is used for each cabin
and a hand
sanitiser dispenser is located at the entrance to each
cabin. We recommend guests also use this on entry and
exit and additional
cleaning materials have been left in the cabins for guest
use.
All soft furnishing, leaflets, games, books, magazines
and any additional crockery and cutlery ha now been
removed from the
log cabins as there is no way to safely clean everything
between guests
We are using a contact-less check in process for log
cabin arrivals, so when new guests arrive they are
given directions
to the log
cabin where they will find the keys and all necessary
information ready for them to enjoy their stay.
What we require guests to do
At the end of their stay we are asking all guests
to strip the used bed linen themselves and place
it in
the laundry
bag provided
ready to be removed from the cabin, an additional
bag will also be provided for towels. We are also
asking
all guests
to load
the dishwasher with all crockery and cutlery and
to remove all rubbish and recycling from the cabin
before
checking
out. The
keys can be left in the door.
Additionally, due to the amount of additional cleaning
and work required to safely prepare a log cabin
between guests,
we are
asking guests not to arrive before 4pm and to
leave promptly at 10am or before so that we have enough
time to do everything
that is required.
While on site, please comply with the latest
social distancing requirements, including adhering
to
the one-way and other
signs near our recycling centre, shop and swimming
pool and to wash
your hands regularly with soap and hot water
or with the hand sanitiser provided. Please
notify a member
of staff
if you
see anything that you feel might pose a risk
to
yourself or any other
guests.
Please notify us immediately by phone if you
or a member of your family or group is showing
symptoms
of Coronavirus
then
stay
inside the log cabin until further advised.
(See Guests Displaying Symptoms for
more information)
Above all, please be respectful to all staff
and other guests staying on site. We have
a zero-tolerance policy
and any
guest found not adhering to the rules will
be asked
to leave.
