Coronavirus Info & FAQ - Coronavirus FAQ

Is Alpine Grove Woodland Park open?

Alpine Grove reopened on July 6th for both camping and log cabin stays.

All customers with bookings up to the end of June have been contacted and offered alternative dates, they may also be able to claim for any losses on their travel insurance, but they should check this before cancelling. Guests with bookings for July and beyond can also rearrange dates if they wish however priority will be given to those with pre-July bookings. All bookings to the end of March 2021 will be subject to our new Conronavirus Booking Guarantee with flexibility to amend the bookings as required if the lockdown is extended further or if they need to self-isolate after being tested.

Our standard cancellation policy applies for all non-covid related cancellations.

Can I amend the date of my Alpine Grove booking?

Yes, we are allowing all guests to transfer their bookings to alternative dates with no loss of deposit or additional fees. Different rules may apply to bookings made via a third party such as Pitchup or Airbnb and priority will be given to guests with original bookings before the end of June. Please contact us by email (stay@alpinegrovetouringpark.com) or by phone on 01460 65079 if you would like to amend your booking.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my Alpine Grove Booking?

If your cancellation is due to changes in the UK Coronavirus restrictions or the need to self-isolate then you can defer your booking or request a refund. Please contact us in the first instance to discuss your booking. Our standard cancellation policy applies to any non-Covid related cancellations, we advise all customers to take out suitable travel insurance at the time of booking.

Please note that some insurance companies are recommending their customers claim fees back via their credit or debit card issuer rather than paying out against the policies purchased. Claiming this way actually costs us more as there are additional fees associated with chargebacks and the insurance companies get away without paying anything, despite having collected their premium for the cover. This is unfair and several insurance companies have been reported for the practice.

Different rules may apply to bookings made via a third party such as Pitchup or Airbnb. Please contact us by email or by phone on 01460 65079 if you would like to discuss your booking.
